About your hair type
Damaged hair has less elasticity than normal hair. It is rough, brittle and strawlike to the touch. It is difficult to comb and tends to spilt at the ends.
Over bleaching is one of those things that is very common. A lot of people do it to create brighter blondes and bright colours, but your hair begins to suffer the damage and it takes ages to fix. Damaged hair can also be caused by over using straighteners, curlers and backcombing your hair too much.
How to look after your hair
If you have coloured blonde hair it is more than likely that somewhere along the line you have had bleach on your hair. Bleach causes destruction and it takes seconds for the damage to happen and months to get it back to normal.
When hair is damaged, always use strong protein based products. These will restore the natural proteins in your hair and strengthen it, making it more manageable.
Over styling your hair with heat irons can cause a lot of damage, so using good heat protector products is always a good idea. It won't make you feel too guilty about using the irons.
